Directions From Glasgow

From Glasgow head west along the A82 along the side of Loch Lomond until you reach Tarbet, continue straight through Tarbet and through Arrochar along the A83. You will pass through Inveraray, Lochgilphead, and Ardrishaig along this road until you reach Tarbert. You should be following the signs to Campbeltown. On entering Tarbert drive down the hill and you will see us ahead of you at the harbour side.

Directions From Ayrshire

By car, you can drive north along the M6 / M74 to Glasgow and take the M8 followed by the A82 and A83 or alternatively take the A78 followed by the A738 before catching the ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick (on Arran) driving northwards around the A841 to Lochranza and catching the ferry to Claonaig before driving along the B8001 towards Kennacraig and then turning north along the A83.

General Travel Information

The nearest train stops to Tarbert are in Oban, Arrochar, or in Ardrossan (before the ferries from Ayrshire to Arran, and then from Arran to Kintyre).

If you are travelling by bus, Citylink provides a daily service from Glasgow to Campbeltown stopping at Tarbert both north and south bound. West Coast Motors provides the local bus services around Argyll and Kintyre including to Skipness, and to Lochgilphead.
